It looks like CBBC is on the hunt for a new controller, as Anne Gilchrist steps into a new role at the Beeb as the creative and business director of the BBC In House Comedy department.
Gilchrist’s new position will see her looking after the department’s growing slate of original UK children’s comedy and comedy online, as well as working on new business and creative platform, as In House Comedy is looking to grow output in both Scotland and North Ireland, including Comedy North based in Manchester and other opps outside London (i.e. Wales).
She’ll be taking up her new post in early September.
