American Greetings Properties and Cookie Jar Entertainment have been keeping busy in the follow-up to Licensing Show, inking a multitude of deals for its portfolio of properties.

For the US and Canada, Shocker Toys is on board to rollout action figures for Madballs, My Pet Monster, Pretty Freekin Scary and Sushi Pack. Nancy Sales Company will introduce Strawberry Shortcake balls, clip-on toys, dolls, inflatables and plush and Cookie Jar has signed up Planet Sox for boys flip flops, boys socks, girls flip flops and girls hosiery for Strawberry. As for Care Bears, Nancy Sales will also rollout branded inflatables and novelty toys, and Intradeco Apparel will produce girls tees for junior, juvenile and toddler.

AGP and Cookie Jar have also secured a number of international deals, bringing on CPLG to rep Holly Hobbie & Friends in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and The Netherlands for ad, merch and publishing representation.

For Strawberry, Cookie Jar has snapped up a number of licensees in Brazil, including Showa Industria e Comercio de Importacao (hats for all ages), Malwee Malhas (girls’ clothing), IBC-Instituto Brasileiro de Cultura (comic books, magazines, posters, stickers and accessories), Companhia Fabril Lepper (bath accessories, textiles), Bonona Importadora e Comercio (bath accessories, room décor, melamine, tote bags).

Other South American partners for Strawberry include Colombia’s Ronda (pencil cases and portfolios), Peru’s Tai Heng (arts & crafts, back-to-school, stationery, storage boxes/containers), Chile’s Sociedad Comercial Federal Internacional (bath products, cosmetics) and Paraguay’s Nikken (baby mobiles).

Cookie Jar has brought on Modern Times in Cyprus and Greece for storybooks and Wall Art for wallpaper/borders, stickers and door signs for Israel, Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

AGP has signed Hakan Canta San Ve Tic in Algeria, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Dubai, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey and the UAE for Strawberry back-to-school, stationery and accessories.

For Care Bears, Union Beaut Creative Marketing Company in Taiwan will rollout adult and kids textiles, back-to-school, cell phone accessories/jewelry, chopsticks and coin purses. And in the same territory, Seggan Taiwan will produce adult bath robes, footwear, bath accessories, textiles, boys separates/sleepwear and toddler clothes.

In Hong Kong and Macau, Media Link Pacific brought on T & G Holding in Hong Kong for adult eyewear accessories, accessories, stationery and hand/leg warmers.

And finally, for Silly Slammers, AGP signed a deal with the Think Wow Toys division of WowWee USA for keychains, pens and plush, which will be distributed in Australia. Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, UK, US and US territories and possessions.
