It looks like one of the most well-known canines is getting the animated treatment.
DQ Entertainment has teamed up with IP owner Classic Media, M6 in France and ZDF in Germany on this 3-D animated TV series co-pro.
The original series, which debuted in 1954 and aired for 19 seasons, is one of the longest-running in TV history. Lassie also has an all-natural line of dog food and treats called Lassie Natural Way, and the United States Postal Service will unveil a classic Lassie postage stamp in August.
