Winnipeg, Canada-based audio production studio Dacapo Productions has inked a deal with France’s Gaumont-Alphanim for new 52-ep series The Green Squad.

Action-adventure The Green Squad, described as Indiana Jones meets Scooby Doo, follows three siblings who turn to a global blogging network to save the planet and protect endangered species.

The partnership was made possible through the Manitoba Film and Video Production Tax Credit and marketing funding from OnScreen Manitoba, which helped Dacapo bring audio animation work to the Canadian province. Previous projects include work from South Africa, Korea and Canada and include Supa Strikas seasons one and two (Strika Entertainment), Noonbory and the Super Seven (Cookie Jar/Daewon Media), Kung Fu Dino Posse (Cookie Jar) and Space Knights (Teletoon).
