It looks like history will be repeating itself on CBBC.
The Brit kidnet’s controller Anne Gilchrist has commissioned season two of Lion Television’s factual entertainment series Horrible Histories (13 x half hours), based on bestselling books from Scholastic by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown.
Season one of the comedic series made its on-air debut this past spring, targeting the six to 12 crowd. Executive producers are Alison Gregory (CBBC) and Richard Bradley (Lion TV), with series producer Caroline Norris and directors Dominic Brigstocke and Steve Connelly.
