Discovery Communications has granted Jay at Play International Hong Kong the license to develop a wide assortment of Animal Planet-inspired plush products.
The range destined for North American retailers will launch at all tiers in spring 2010, a first for Animal Planet plush. Product includes domestic and wildlife animals that features electronic movement and authentic animal sounds, which will be bundled with a DVD of the series of the same name.
Licensing agent The Joester Loria Group brokered the deal.
