Fans seeking out the candy striped, bespectacled Waldo will be turning to their gaming platforms as Ubisoft preps its Where’s Waldo vidgame for release this fall.
Teamed with developer Ludia and rights owner Classic Media, Ubisoft is producing family-friendly Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey for Nintendo Wii, DS, Windows-based PC and Mac.
Similar to the book experience, the title landing at North American retailers gets players to search for Waldo and includes hundreds of hidden items in a dozen different worlds. It features a single-player mode or multiplayer, where gameplay is enhanced through a number of power-up features that unleash special effects to help the search.
