Marvel Entertainment is getting active with Jarden Corporation, as the consumer goods company has signed a portfolio-wide licensing deal with the IP house.
Jarden brands are lined up to produce a wide array of goods for North American mass-market and specialty retailers, including Rawlings (playground balls, sports balls, sports sets and other sports equipment), Shakespeare Fishing (children’s fishing equipment), Coleman (outdoor camping gear), Stearns (children’s and adult personal flotation devices and towables) and the United States Playing Card Company (playing cards and puzzles). The products will feature Marvel’s characters/brands like Super Hero Squad, Spider-Sense Spider-Man, Wolverine Classic, Spider-Man Classic, Marvel Heroes and Marvel Extreme.
