Drawing in the eyeballs with new episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place and Phineas and Ferb on Friday, July 31, Disney Channel came in as Friday’s top TV net for the entire day in kids six to 11, tweens nine to 14, as well as cable’s number-one network in prime in total viewers.
Friday’s ep of Phineas and Ferb was the show’s second most-watched ever in total viewers and tweens, becoming its third most-watched ep in kids six to 11. That airing also stands as the number-one telecast of all time in boys nine to 14.
Both series, meanwhile, reigned as Friday’s top two TV telecasts, with DC holding the top seven telecasts overall for the day in kids six to 11, and the top eight in tweens. In total viewers, DC scored five of Friday’s top 10 cable telecasts, with Wizards as the number two scripted telecast for the day overall.
Phineas was TV’s top program with kids, number one in total viewers and the top show in the half hour, as well as TV’s second overall scripted program.
