As the new CG-animated Angelina Ballerina The Next Steps series leaps onto PBS Kids this fall, HIT Entertainment has inked a trio of specialty toy licensees for the property.
Madame Alexander is on-board for specialty plush, figurines, soft playsets and dolls, while The Toy Workshop will rollout room décor, dollhouses and wooden furniture (child-sized chairs, tables and wooden toys), and Rubie’s Costume Company is producing costumes, dress-up, and treat bags items.
The products will roll out at US retail this fall and into spring 2010, coinciding with the release of the new series. They’ll also be featured along with the classic Angelina hardcover books from Viking Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers Group, at specialty stores nationwide.
