Monster Distributes inks raft of sales

Several broadcasters across the globe have glommed on to a number of kids series repped by Ireland's Monster Distributes.

Several broadcasters across the globe have glommed on to a number of kids series repped by Ireland’s Monster Distributes.

M-Net (South Africa), Sinovision (China), C4U Media (Korea) and Incomsa (Colombia) have all picked up animated series Jungle Beat (13 x five minutes), produced by South Africa-based Sunrise.

M-Net, Incomsa, C4U and Knowledge Network Canada have also snapped up Gazoon, a 30 x 3.5 minute series co-produced by Sparkling and TF1 France.

And the animated short The Happy Duckling, has sold to RAI Tre (Italy), TV3 Catalunya (Spain) and Telepool Switzerland.

Canada’s Knowledge Network has re-upped its order for preschool toons I’m an Animal and Why?, while BBC Latin America and Astro Entertainment Malaysia have taken I’m an Animal.

As part of an HD package, M-Net has acquired Lifeboat Luke (52 x five minutes) and Ben and Izzy, (13 x 30 minutes).

DVD distributor Urania has taken on animated series Hermie & Friends for the Czech Republic, while Inflight Dublin snapped up two eps of Ben and Izzy for Aer Lingus.

Down under, Disney Australia and New Zealand have bought animated preschool series Slim Pig (39 x seven minutes).
