One of KidScreen‘s Cool New Shows from 2005 is ready for the MIP Jr. Screenings room.

France’s Go-N Productions has completed the first two episodes of Flash-animated Commander Clark, which will be shown in Cannes next month, and CEO Eric Garnet notes that the series has been presold to Germany’s Telemuenchen, as well as Cartoon Network France, Italy and Spain.

The 52 x 13-minute comedy series targets the six to 10 set, with a sweet spot of six to eight. Garnet describes it as a Star Trek spoof, in which all the animals that have been sent out to space in the 1950s have created their own galaxy, and the canine Commander Clark blasts off with a rag-tag crew as they journey through the universe.

Final delivery is set for summer 2010 and Go-N is also working on website content, which will include space facts to complement the series.

As for the prodco’s distribution arm, Go-N International, it’s also sold 52 x 13-minute animated sitcom Lou! to Radio-Canada and Mexico’s Once TV.
