With Stephen J. Davis at the helm of the recently formed Hasbro Studios, the upstart prodco’s new exec team drawn from the likes of Fox, Sony and RDF is well on its way to producing shows based on the toyco’s brands, along with programs from third parties.
Bob Boden steps in as head of reality and game show development and production from his current SVP of programming and production post at Fox’s Reality Channel. Moving over from the role of director of animated programming at Sony Pictures Television is Michael J. Vogel, who will take on a new role as head of boys animation. Brian Charles Lenard, meanwhile, departs his position as director of scripted development at RDF Media Group to head up story development at Hasbro.
Mary Beth Bambridge leaves William Morris Endeavour Entertainment as head of strategic planning to become CFO, and Kevin Healymoves from his role as head of business and legal affairs at Hasbro Entertainment and Licensing to lead legal and business affairs at the new studio.
Many of the shows created by the prodco will run on the new Hasbro and Discovery JV channel, slated for a fall 2010 debut.
