CopCorp’s It’s Happy Bunny continues hopping across the globe, as the licensor’s sub-agents have secured a number of new deals.

CPLG Germany has brokered a deal with United Labels to produce an assortment of licensed products, including apparel, bags, backpacks, wallets, purses, towels, blankets, bedding, gift items, cooking & baking items, kitchenware, tableware, partyware, garden accessories, card & board games, chess sets, mobile accessories, school stationery, and gift stationery. Product will be marketed in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

MediaLink has tapped China’s Quanzhou Kadinu Travel Products for It’s Happy Bunny for a range of bags, Sinerji signed Turkey’s Hakan Çanta to manufacture a range of bags, accessories and back-to-school items for the Turkish market, and Australia’s Grahame Allan Company brought on Casco Blu for ladies’ outerwear and sleepwear in Australia and New Zealand.

France-based Xilam will see a new line of merch for Oggy and the Cockroaches begin rolling out this fall, including a clothing range (underwear and nightwear) from Blues next month, an Oggy board game from TF1 Games (October), playing cards and puzzles (January 2010), Oggy lucky charms from Alcara (January 2010) to be supported by a major retail promotion, and a comic book album from Dargaud (Q1 2010).

Other new Oggy deals include a stationery and back-to-school range from Hamelin Group, a soundtrack published by Sony Music (both in Q2 2010) and Panini will publish Stick & Stack and stickers in the first quarter of 2010.

A new four-year agreement with Fitz Roy Media will see L.A.-based Street Players developing a range of toy products based on Heathcliff.

Street Players will initially be rolling out a line of Heathcliff plush for a spring 2011 US and Canadian retail debut, to be followed by additional merch such as collectible figures and a line of pets products.
