The service: Not-for-profit service BARB was established in 1981 as a television audience measurement service for broadcasters and the advertising industry. BARB is owned by BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, BSkyB and the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising). BARB commissions research services, including audience viewing figures, on its behalf from companies including RSMB, Ipsos MORI, AGB Nielsen Media Research and TNS.

TV Data Subscription – full access to all audience data for all programs and audience results for all standard targets delivered following a set weekly or monthly schedule. Time period and overnight deliveries also available, and subscription can be customized to include only certain channels, genres and demos
