It looks like FremantleMedia Enterprises is committing to more kids and family content with the appointment of animation vet Sander Schwartz to lead the company's new division as EVP and head of children's and family entertainment.

It looks like FremantleMedia Enterprises is committing to more kids and family content with the appointment of animation vet Sander Schwartz to lead the company’s new division as EVP and head of children’s and family entertainment.

His new role will see him driving FME’s presence in the market and establishing more kid-targeted content along with expanding licensing programs, building relationship with producers, third-party IP owners and broadcasters.

Schwartz comes to FME with more than 20 years of kids experience under his belt. With production credits on The Batman series for Kids’ WB!, he’s also served as president of international production for Sony Pictures Television International, president of Warner Bros. Animation, president of Sony Pictures Family Entertainment’s and head of Columbia TriStar Television Children’s Programming.
