Hippo’s House is one of the many projects in development at preschool hub HIT Entertainment, as the prodco presents a raft of new programs at MIPCOM.

The 52 x 10-minute CG series targeting the three to five set, takes place in a magical home of wooden toys with human aspirations, showing how a group of friends learns to live together. Created by Tattiemoon, writer Sharon Miller (Thomas & Friends) is on board.

HIT is also in discussions with broadcasters for pre-sales of the CGI Mike the Knight (52 x 10 minutes), where castles, quests, dragons and friendships lie in the medieval land of Pendragon. Created by Alexander Bar (Lunar Jim), writers include Marc Seal (head writer, Bob the Builder) and Rachel Dawson.

Dave Ingham (Waybuloo, Charlie and Lola) has also signed on for HIT’s CGI series The Real Mees (52 x 10 minutes), created by Absolutely Cuckoo (Waybuloo). It’s aimed at the four-to-six crowd to help develop inner confidence and overcome fears, helping viewers understand that they’re not alone.
