The inaugural MIPCOM Jr. Jury Awards took place this past Sunday in Cannes. Read on for the winning kids toons were selected by a panel of children.
Spain’s BRB Internacional snagged two of the three awards, one for Kambu (104 x six minutes) in the preschool (three to six) category, and the other for The Secret Life of Suckers (104 x two minutes) in the kids seven to 10 category. Brazil’s 44 Toons, meanwhile, took home the award in the kids 11-14 category with animated sitcom Osmar, The Heel of the Loaf (11 minutes).
