Sanrio’s iconic feline is ringing in her 35th anniversary with a Euro-wide tour, beginning in her birthplace of London.

Celebrations will kick off with a High British Tea party and fashion show for London celebrities and journalists held at the Sketch, and creator Yuko Yamaguchi will be presenting and singing artworks at Harrods.

Similar events will also be taking place at Paris’ Gallery Lafayette, Milan’s shop of Camomilla and in Barcelona at the Sanrio’s Noguera shop. Yamaguchi will also meet Central Saint Martins’ students during a talk about the roots, history and artistic interpretations of Hello Kitty.

The tour continues into Milan with an exclusive event from Chronotech, which has just inked a new agreement with Sanrio for high profile watches.

M.A.S, the company behind Hello Kitty The Show will organise a special press conference to present a 3-D simulation with set design and music from the spectacle produced by Poltronissima, and then HK will head over to an H&M part in Stockholm for kids and moms, organized in association with UNICEF and Mama magazine.
