Bell TV subscribers in Canada will be able to watch Family and Playhouse Disney series online at no extra cost, as Astral Media launches two new broadband services on November 11.

The two branded sites are part of the new BellTV OnLine platform, which authenticates and grants access to individual subscribers, letting them stream content to their computer anywhere in Canada with an available high-speed connection.

The sites offer about 160 hours of programming per week, with 25% of the content refreshed weekly, and reflect the content offering on Family and Playhouse Disney’s current Subscription Video On Demand services with similar functionality. Subscribers will be able to rewind, play, pause and review title descriptions.

Available at www.bell.ca/tvonline, Family OnLine will launch with Hannah Montana, Zeke and Luther, The Suite Life on Deck, Sonny With A Chance and Overruled!. Meanwhile, Playhouse Disney will offer Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso, Franny’s Feet and The Secret Life of Benjamin Bear.
