It looks like Elmo and the gang will be delving deeper into the interactive realm as Sesame Workshop inks a multi-year exclusive licensing agreement with Burbank, California-based Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

WBIE will create and publish vidgame titles based on the popular preschool property, also marking the gameco’s move into fun and educational preschool console titles.

Meanwhile, an existing multi-year, exclusive partnership between the Workshop and WB’s Home Entertainment Group will launch its first DVD titles at US retail later this year.
