Moving from BBC Worldwide to fill the role of Coolabi’s head of licensing is Anna Hewitt.
Hewitt will take responsibility for global brand licensing development across all of the company’s IPs and categories. She’ll be putting her seasoned kids L&M experience to good use, having served as head of international licensing for BBCW, as well as a stint at Hasbro UK.
Hewitt will be put right to work, as Coolabi’s upcoming preschool series Poppy Cat is slated for a Nickelodeon debut in 2011, and she’ll be looking for preschool licensees, including toy and apparel, as well as new partners for brands such as Purple Ronnie, Bagpuss and Clangers, and Scarlett & Crimson.
