The name is still undecided, but the release date for Sony Computer Entertainment’s motion controller for the PS3 has been pushed back to this fall from a planned spring 2010 rollout.
It’ll launch in North America and Europe/PAL territories, Japan and Asian regions, along with a line-up of software titles. The new controller, unveiled at last year’s E3, uses Sony’s proprietary PlayStation Eye camera to detect precise hand movements within the game.
In the meantime, SCE is on the hunt to secure new games that use the motion controller technology from within SCE Worldwide Studios, as well as third-party developers and publishers.
