Nick and CCTV.com launch co-branded website

MTV Networks China and Chinese pubcaster CCTV have teamed to launch nick.cctv.com.

The new Mandarin-language site will grant Chinese audiences access to video streams of popular Nick content. CCTV is now the first international broadcaster to provide officially sanctioned online video content in the territory.

An ad-supported site, it’ll launch with a range of original Nick content, from online games, wallpapers and streaming eps of SpongeBob SquarePants, adding eps of other Nick series, such as Dora the Explorer and CatDog, later this year. The new site will be promoted to more than 300 million households on CCTV1 and 250 million households on children’s channel CCTV14.
