Turner and Lego join forces on commercial deals

UK-based Turner Media Innovations, the LEGO Group and Carat Sponsorship have teamed up for a series of high-profile commercial deals launching this month's half term on Cartoon Network.

UK-based Turner Media Innovations, the LEGO Group and Carat Sponsorship have teamed up for a series of high-profile commercial deals launching this month’s half term on Cartoon Network.

The deals include a campaign for the launch of new toy range, Lego Atlantis, and the construction toyco has commissioned Turner to make a series of promo spots beginning tomorrow to drive online activity, including the exclusive UK premiere of the Lego Atlantis mini-movie.

It’ll be followed by a sponsorship tie-in for the new product launch of Lego Ben 10: Alien Force, and the toyco is on board to sponsor the new Ben 10 season on CN from next Monday, and will additionally sponsor Turner’s recently launched online app Ben 10: Alien Maker.

Rounding out the campaign is repeat business between Turner and Lego for the toyco’s Star Wars range. It’ll be the third collaboration between the two for this range, and as part of the deal, Lego will sponsor the new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on CN from February 13.
