A new co-pro deal between Barcelona’s Imira Entertainment and Top Draw Animation from the Philippines will see the two prodcos working on Lucky Fred.
Other production partners include TV Catalunya and RAI on the 52 x 12-minute 2-D animated series for the six to 12 set. Top Draw will handle all animation and distribution in Asia (excluding Japan), and Australia and New Zealand will be handled through subsidiary company Mango Distribution. Meanwhile, Imira holds distribution rights for the rest of the world.
The series will make its international debut at MIPCOM, and revolves around the titular character whose personal robot transforms into anything he wants.
