International children’s channel KidsCo has snapped up live-action shows Snake Tales, Misery Guts and Eyewitness from Syndey-based Beyond Distribution.

The shows will all air on KidsCo in Australia, Asia and sub-Saharan Africa during 2010, with Snake Tales premiering on Pay-TV in Australia and Asia in April, Misery Guts in June and Eyewitness in September.

KidsCo recently launched into Australia with Foxtel and Austar and continues to add to its strong programming library, which already includes shows such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong, Super Mario World and Adventures of Super Mario Brothers, as well as original KidsCo productions, Boo and Me and Jass Time!

The new agreement with Beyond represents KidsCo’s drive to add more home-grown Australian content to its Australian feed and follows its recent agreement with Australia’s Beach Crew Productions to air its series The Beach Crew in Australia and Asia from June 2010.
