Cookie Jar Entertainment and My Gym Children’s Fitness Center have joined forces to launch Mommy & Me Free Play at My Gym locations across the US.
Set to begin in January 2010, the branded play sessions are the newest addition to the chain’s age-appropriate fitness programs, music and arts and crafts classes.
Mommy & Me was developed in 1979 by child development psychologist Dr. Cindy Nurik as a series of classes for new moms with the aim of socialization and developmental play for their kids, with the added benefit of social networking and support for parents.
