UK-based VGI Entertainment has changed its name to VSI Entertainment just in time for launch of its HD CGI series Everything’s Rosie on CBeebies.
CEO of the 20-year-old kids production and distribution company, Vickie Corner, says she wanted a new name with a greater personal resonance for herself and the rest of the team.
The 52 x 11-minute Everything’s Rosie, targeted at three- to six-year-olds is due to air on CBeebies this spring. The central character is a girl named Rosie who, along with her eclectic group of friends, embarks on a journey of fun and discovery whilst learning important values, social skills and life lessons along the way.
VSI’s catalogue also includes co-productions, Blanche (26 x 6 minutes) and Ebb & Flo (26 x five minutes). VSI is currently working on a pilot for another British series, Fred Basset (52 x three minutes).
