Euro formats powerhouse Endemol is reorganizing its ancillary business activity under the Endemol Worldwide Brands brands banner and has tapped former Fremantle Media exec Olivier Gers to head up the venture as CEO.

Euro formats powerhouse Endemol is reorganizing its ancillary business activity under the Endemol Worldwide Brands brands banner and has tapped former Fremantle Media exec Olivier Gers to head up the venture as CEO.

The new division will focus on extending Endemol properties across multiple platforms, including licensing and merchandising, as well as investing in product development and the creating games applications and social gaming sites. The division will work with Endemol’s operating companies around the world.

Gers will be joined by Joerg Bachmaier, who has been appointed as the SVP/GM Americas at the new division.
