New York-based Little Airplane Productions has presold its short-form animated series Small Potatoes to broadcasters in Europe, Australia and Canada.
Broadcasters signed up for the 26 x three-minute preschool series include CBeebies (UK), NRK (Norway), SVT (Sweden), ABC TV (Australia) and TVO and Knowledge (Canada).
The series chronicles a band comprised of four singing potatoes. Composers and lyricists for the shorts include Jerry Bock, of Fiddler on the Roof fame. Small Potatoes will make its debut on CBeebies next summer.
