Sharpay Evans, High School Musical‘s aspiring thespian portrayed by Ashley Tisdale, is set to return to the spotlight in HSM spin-off Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
The Disney Channel original movie will begin production this summer, and is set to air in 2011. Tisdale will also serve as the movie’s executive producer alongside Barry Rosenbush and Bill Borden.
As a recent graduate of East High School, Sharpay heads to Broadway after being spotted by a talent scout. Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure captures the obstacles she faces along her road to stardom.
