Paris-based Gaumont-Alphanim and Montreal’s Muse Entertainment have partnered with Oxford University Press Canada to develop a list of education titles based on the animated children’s television series The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog.

The print editions will capture the scientific adventures of the hedgehog detective in an educational context and will be used in primary classrooms across Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

The 52 x 11-minute series, created by Merilyn Read and Mary Mackay-Smith and produced by Muse’s Jesse Prupas, aired this year in Canada on TVO, TFO, Radio-Canada and Knowledge and France 5. There are also online and Nintendo Wii The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog games available.
