The Disney Store retail chain is set to launch 20 remodeled store locations in major markets across the US and Europe this summer.
The first store will open in June at The Shops at Montebello in California, followed by the European debut in July in Madrid. The slate of revamped stores, which include features like the Disney Store Theater, will open this year at premier retail centers in locations, including New York, Santa Monica, Tampa, San Diego, Portugal, Italy and the UK.
With each new opening in 2010, Disney Store will designate a day to donate 10% of sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the US, Spain, Italy and Portugal and to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in the UK.
