Dibo hits the Russian market after Telescreen sale

Telescreen has sold all media and merch rights to the TV series and licencing brand Dibo - The Gift Dragon to Noviy Disk and Marmelad Media for the Russian market.

Telescreen has sold all media and merch rights to the TV series and licencing brand Dibo – The Gift Dragon to Noviy Disk and Marmelad Media for the Russian market.

Telescreen, a subsidiary of Germany’s m4e, will collaborate closely with both Russian firms in exploiting all rights in Russia and the CIS states.

Noviy Disk, a supplier of video games and DVDs in Russia, will be responsible for the TV and home entertainment sectors. Marmelad Media, a full-service Russian brand management company known in Russia for its successful Gogoriki animated series, will create a comprehensive merch program.

The preschool CGI series Dibo – The Gift Dragon (52 x 11 minutes) from Korean studio Ocon Animation centers around a purple dragon called Dibo.

Telescreen will be presenting the series along with other properties at the upcomming Discop East, taking place between June 23 and 25 in Budapest.
