Ottawa, Canada-based Amberwood Entertainment has licensed the broadcast rights for its newest preschool series Rob the Robot to Al Jazeera Children’s Channel for the Middle East.
A co-production between Canada’s Amberwood and Singapore’s ONE Animation, the 52 x 11-minute CGI series is currently in production and was commissioned by Canada’s TV Ontario. The country’s SRC, Knowledge Kids, and Access nets are also on board for the series that’s set to air this fall.
Rob the Robot is also produced with support from the MDA, CMF, and the Shaw Rocket Fund, and follows the adventures of Rob and his friends as they explore the planets of the Robot Galaxy.
