MTV Networks International (MTVNI) has inked a series of deals that will see more than 400 half hour episodes of Nickelodeon’s animated and live-action content go to broadcasters in Kazakhstan, Albania and Slovenia.
In Kazakhstan, free-to-air broadcaster KTK has scooped up 263 half hour episodes of Nickelodeon programs. Series hitting airways in September include SpongeBob SquarePants (seasons one to six), The Penguins of Madagascar (seasons one to two), and Danny Phantom (seasons one to four) and Fairly Odd Parents (seasons five to six).
Digit-Alb, Albania’s digital-satellite and digital-terrestrial platform, has signed on for 150 half hours of live-action Nick content, including iCarly (seasons one and two) and True Jackson, VP (seasons one and two), along with the first season of Big Time Rush, Nickelodeon’s new live action series produced for tweens.
iCarly will also air on Slovenia’s free-to-air broadcaster TV3.
