Planeta Junior Italia has signed with Lisciani Giochi to develop products for the Maya the Bee brand, which will be developed into a range of products including educational toys and game books.
Maya the bee first aired in 1979 on Rai 1 and is now broadcast in more than 120 countries.
Planeta Junior Italia has also inked a deal with Gi.Effe Montefiore to develop a range based on Puppy in my Pocket. Montefiore will develop on apparel line for infants that will include overalls, pyjamas, jogging suits and aprons with the images of Puppy in my Pocket.
Following the success of the Puppy in my Pocket toy line, a co-production between Gruppo Preziosi, Meg Toys and Mondo TV will see the brand become an animated series, airing on Italia 1 in October.
