CiTV has commissioned brand new series The Cool Stuff Collective from UK-based independent kids and entertainment specialist Archie Productions.
The studio-based magazine review show is aimed at seven- to 12-year-olds and will showcase anything that kids might want to own, consume, watch, download or play. The 13 x half-hour eps will start airing this fall.
The series will keep track of all new gadgets, games, movies, apps, websites and books that kids want to know about and features several themed strands. Destruction Den focuses on the latest gadgets, while the Popcrash Grannies will be on-hand to listen to the newest music releases and Classroom Committee has a has a group of kids reviewing a new game, console or DVD. The Star with the Remote Control Car, meanwhile, tests the newest in radio-controlled toys. The Movie Trail Monkey revolves around film reviews and the Cool Stuff Graveyard is the place where old gadgets can be recycled. Finally Can Mum Work it? takes a bit of a poke at mom and dad and determines whether a new app or a gadget is parent-proof.
