Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment has revealed details surrounding its fall 2010 programming line ups for kidnets YTV, Nickelodeon (Canada) and Treehouse.

Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment has revealed details surrounding its fall 2010 programming line ups for kidnets YTV, Nickelodeon (Canada) and Treehouse.

On the YTV front, Dan Schneider’s new live action comedy Victorious, already a Nickelodeon hit series, is set to premiere on September 10. The series follows the journey of Tori Vega, who discovers that she’s born to be a performer and that entertaining people is what makes her happy. Also premiering on YTV is Big Time Rush, produced in partnership by Nickelodeon and Sony Music, which chronicles four best friends from Minnesota who have been given the chance to join the LA pop music scene.

Other highlights include YTV and Nelvana’s new animated series Sidekick, and Babar and the Adventures of Badou, a new CGI-animated series also produced by Nelvana Studio in association with French prodco TeamTO

Nickelodeon programming will include returning series like SpongeBob SquarePants and iCarly, as well as new episodes of the live-action comedy True Jackson, VP.

Airing on Corus’ Treehouse preschool network is Portfolio Entertainment’s new series The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!, premiering August 7 – it’s the first animated series to star the iconic children’s character. Also new to Treehouse is 3-2-1 Let’s Go, a half-hour preschool series produced by Sesame Workshop.
