Montreal, Canada-based Toon Boom Animation has released Flipboom Lite, a free app designed to create simple smooth-looking animation on the Apple iPad.
The FlipBoom Lite app allows users to use their fingertips to doodle, scribble or draw a sequence of images and then watch them move. It also offers introductory tools on how to create animation in a playful environment.
The app marks the software animation company’s first step in porting their technology to mobile devices.
