Discovery/Hasbro joint programming venture The Hub, set to launch in October, has bolstered its marketing team with the appointments of Michael Grover and Cindy Slocki.
Grover has been named director of consumer marketing, where he will be responsible for developing and implementing consumer-facing marketing and promotional campaigns, working across all relevant company areas to leverage the assets of both the network and its related programming. Previously, he served as marketing manager for Cartoon Network, where he was responsible for launch campaigns for a variety of television properties, including animated and live-action series. Grover also oversaw interactive consumer and trade events in addition to key aspects of the network’s digital marketing initiatives.
As director of integrated marketing solutions, Slocki is responsible for the development and execution of integrated sponsorships, working closely with external clients as well as advertising sales, programming and on-air marketing. Prior to joining The Hub, she served as brand director for United Media, responsible for managing licensing and marketing strategies for popular brands and before that she served as brand manager for Charles Schulz’s Peanuts property.
