International children’s channel KidsCo has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with New Delhi Television (NDTV) to represent the channel across India.
Under the deal, NDTV will market KidsCo’s content – including Sonic Underground, The Wiggles and Jass Time! – across all its digital platforms, cable TV and DTH channels.
With digital homes set to cross 50 million in the next two years, the Indian market was a viable step in KidsCo’s strategic expansion across Asia. The network also recently launched in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indonesia.
KidsCo offers three programming zones of pre-school, kids six to 10 and family, which have been designed to fit audience availability and lifestyle.
