Five new licensees have joined the licensing lineup across the UK and Europe for 4Kids Entertainment International’s Dinosaur King.

Signature Publishing joins Harper Collins as part of the UK publishing program. Signature launched the first official Dinosaur King magazine in the UK in July in outlets such as Sainsbury’s, Spar and the Martin McColls Retail Group.

In the UK and Ireland, Samuel Eden and Son is set to produce socks, slipper socks and sock gift sets for a spring 2011 launch. Also timed to hit retail next spring is PMS International’s plush, playballs and inflatable bashers and figures. The amusement plush will be offered at UK theme parks Alton Towers and Thorpe Park.

Additional partners include Anubis Publications, which will launch a Dinosaur King magazine in Greece and Cyprus, as well as MC Productions, which recently published the first hard cover comic books for distribution in France and French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland.

Season two of Dinosaur King is set to launch on UK net GMTV on November 1.
