BOING, the new 24-hour channel devoted to kids and teens, will hit the Spanish broadcasting scene on September 1.
Taking a careful selection of titles from Tuner’s TV factory, the new channel will expand Spanish terrestrial broadcaster Telecinco’s presence in the digital terrestrial space, joining its other DTT nets Factoría de Ficción and LaSiete.
During the initial weeks, BOING will offer a six-hour loop of shows featuring animated TV series like Geronimo Stilton, Beyblade: Metal Fusion, Dinosaur King and Ben 10 Alien Force. Gradually, it will add new and original content.
In Spain, Turner joint ventures include Telecinco, Factoría de Ficción, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, TCM, TCM Clásico, TNT and CNN International.
