Building on their longstanding relationship, Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) and Random House Children’s Books are collaborating on a full line of books based on action-adventure series Generator Rex.
The Random House Children’s Books program will bring to market titles built around the show’s protagonist Rex, with the first books — a reader and a deluxe 3-D storybook — hitting shelves in summer 2011. Additional readers, storybooks, and activity books will follow.
Random House joins other partners for the consumer products launch of the series that currently includes Mattel, as the brand’s global master toy partner, Activision for interactive, Hallmark for party goods and social expression, Hybrid Apparel and DC Comics.
