DreamWorks announces Megamind promotional and licensing partners

DreamWorks Animation has revealed its slate of marketing, licensing and promotional partners surrounding the studio's upcoming feature film release of Megamind, which hits US theaters on November 5.

DreamWorks Animation has revealed its slate of marketing, licensing and promotional partners surrounding the studio’s upcoming feature film release of Megamind, which hits US theaters on November 5.

Joining partners like McDonald’s, HP and Intel are those within the banking and hotel industries. Chase Freedom, for one, has rolled out its first movie-themed execution that provides free tickets to movie screenings across the US to roughly 7,500 of its card members.

Additional promotional partners and licensees featured in the Megamind campaign include confectioner Airheads (chewy candy, dedicated television commercial and online games); Penguin Books (traditional storybooks); Dalmatian Press (color/activity books); iStoryTime (digital book application); Ape Entertainment (comic books & graphic novels); Starwood Hotels & Resorts (Family Getaway packages); THQ ( video games); and master toy licensee Toy Quest (full toy range available exclusively at Toys ‘R’ Us).
