Singer and songwriter Shakira has penned Dora the Explorer in World School Day Adventure from Nickelodeon Consumer Products and Simon & Schuster. In the first jacketed hardcover Dora book, the songstress also gets the cartoon treatment.
World School Day Adventure follows Dora, Boots and Shakira as they celebrate World School Day with students from across the globe. When some schools are missing supplies, it’s up to Dora and Boots to make some special deliveries.
Printed in English and Spanish versions, the book (US$16.99) is now available in major US retailers. Additionally, a portion of the book’s proceeds will benefit The Barefoot Foundation, Shakira’s non-profit organization dedicated to childhood education.
