UK-based Spearmark Lighting, a manufacturer of child-safe lighting and housewares, is set to launch a range of products based on the upcoming animated feature film Cars 2.

The sequel to the 2006 film Cars, which followed the fortunes of a racing car named Lightning McQueen and a cast of other autos, sees the characters head around the world as they take part in the famous Race of Champions.

The new range from Spearmark will be timed with the film’s worldwide release next year and features a tire-themed plate and bowl set with matching tool-shaped cutlery, as well as a mealtime set and a variety of mugs, tumblers, drink bottles and lunch bags. The lighting range includes a variety of ceiling shades, a battery-powered night light, lenticular wall light and two types of LED task lamps.
