Zodiak Rights is partnering with TV and satellite broadcaster Hunan TV to bring a version of Bomanbridge Media’s light entertainment format That’s My Kid to audiences in China.
In collaboration with local prodco Idea Asia, Hunan TV has ordered up the first season of the family program consisting of 13 episodes. This new deal is the latest in a host of recent commissions for That’s My Kid, including 12 episodes for Poland’s TVP2, 30 episodes for Egypt’s Egyptian Radio & Television and the re-commission of a second series of 18 episodes for Russia’s CTC.
The series marks Zodiak Rights’ first format deal in the territory and is among the few international formats licensed to China.
